The keyboard utility allows you to "type" in Cyrillic. Russian characters from prerevolutionary orthography are available. You can copy the resulting text to the clipboard for use in another application, or you can retrieve a definition for the word currently in the text box by clicking one of the dictionary buttons at the bottom of the page. The text produced by the keyboard is encoded with Unicode.
